Course Description
The White Belt Foundations course introduces students to Taekwondo as a discipline, system, and lifelong practice. Students will learn the fundamental etiquette, movements, blocks, strikes, kicks, forms (poomsae), and mental practices that form the foundation of all future training.
This course emphasizes correct habits, respect, and body awareness rather than speed or power.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, the student will be able to:

Demonstrate proper dojang etiquette and respect

Wear and care for the dobok correctly

Perform foundational stances with balance and control

Execute basic blocks, punches, and kicks

Perform three White Belt poomsae with correct sequence and intent

Demonstrate basic self-defence awareness

Participate safely in structured one-step sparring

Apply kihap and breathing correctly

Explain the structure of a Taekwondo class

Prepare confidently for White Belt promotion testing

This course introduces adult learners to the foundation of Taekwondo training. You will learn the key stances, blocks, strikes, and kicks that form the White Belt curriculum, along with the etiquette, safety, and philosophy of Taekwondo.
